While considering myself first and foremost a sculptor, photography has always played a major part in my practice. As its subject-matter my work generally takes a broadly social realist view which I try to approach without ideological dogma. Working in my central London studio, where I also run a small gallery, I often feel the need to express thoughts and ideas concerning my practice and other related current issues. This Blog, begun in June 2012, aims to give expression to this need.

July 2015 Work in Progress
Finally the trilogy I have been working on for at least 18 months is nearing completion. Here is the third piece awaiting the addition of photographs, a small framed print bottom centre and 2 large black and white prints - the image right is a rough mocked-up of Epson prints. I've been having difficulty finding the best place to get the printing done and rather wishing I hadn't got rid of my huge wall-mounted enlarger or I could have done them myself!
